A London man has been sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, for illegally teaching learner drivers.

An illegal driving instructor has been sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court
Deekan Vig, of Southgate, had been found guilty of three charges of misrepresentation at an earlier trial.
He was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court and told his jail term is suspended on the condition he does 100 hours of unpaid community work.
Vig, 40, made up to 4,000 by conning three learner drivers into believing he was an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).
Suspicions were raised about him when examiners at driving centres across London, including Barnet, Chingford and Winchmore, reported an illegal instructor presenting candidates for test. A subsequent investigation was launched and Mr Vig was charged.
Driving Standards Agency registrar of driving instructors, Charles Morton, said: "Our message is clear: if you are not an ADI or a Trainee Licence holder and teach for money or monies worth, you can expect to face ever-increasing penalties."
